I knew a deep understanding of valuation theory was a necessity if I wanted to thrive in my career. Although it required dedication and discipline, the A.I.M.A. designation positively impacted my career. I cannot imagine where I would be if I chose not to take the leap and accelerate my learning and growth through the IMA.

The IMA learning experience enabled success, due to the flexibility offered with the online courses & exams, allowing study on my preferred times. The M.I.M.A. designation permits me to proudly display a level of educational excellence as a professional in the Property Assessment Industry.

Through the M.I.M.A. education program, I enhanced my skills in property assessment, particularly property assessment in Ontario. I have been especially intrigued by the litigation process and the nuances around each Assessment Review Board ruling that I have been exposed to through the M.I.M.A. program.

I am currently a Property Valuation Analyst at MPAC. The IMA courses have equipped me with the in-depth knowledge required to thrive in the property assessment field. The M.I.M.A. designation is just a start for me, and I will continue to take courses in the IMA Education Program to advance my professional growth.
